Audit & Assurance
How we can help
Spire Strategic provide audit and assurance services which comply with statutory requirements and the relevant APES standards. An audit may not be required as a result of a statutory obligation, but through the result of an internal improvement process undertaken by management.
We are committed to understanding our client’s business and can tailor assurance solutions accordingly, including offering best practice recommendations for record keeping, improving internal controls and addressing industry changes.
We offer fixed price quotes and guaranteed delivery times
Financial Statement Audits
The scope of a company financial statement audit is to enable us to express an independent opinion to members as to whether the financial statements are prepared in accordance with the Corporations Act 2001, including a true and fair view of the company’s financial position and of its performance for the year then ended.
Our team has the relevant years of audit experience to appropriately address your company financial statement audit requirements across a broad range of industries and sectors. If your company has experienced growth and has transitioned from a Small Proprietary to a Large Proprietary Company, the directors are obligated to report to ASIC. Spire Strategic can assist with all of your Large Proprietary reporting and audit requirements with ASIC in an efficient and seamless process.
Not For Profit & Associations
Not for profit organisations require annual financial statement audits to ensure that the financial statements as presented to members are free from material misstatement and are compliant with the Associations Incorporation Act 1981(Qld) and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 (Federal).
Both in Queensland and nationally, organisations are divided into three levels based on financial criteria with each having different reporting requirements.
While the objective of our audit is to ensure the financial records correctly record the organisation’s income and expenditure and dealings with its assets and liabilities, we also commit to providing the committee an annual management letter regarding internal control recommendations.
If you are looking to start a charity of community organisation, contact one of our team members to ensure you receive the correct advice relating to structure, set up and ongoing compliance and audit requirements.
